Meet Lucky Lamond

Lucky Lamond is a singer-songwriter and creative producer.

A proud member of the Irish American and Chinese American diasporas raised between California’s gold country, beaches, and deserts, her music weaves elements of traditional folk and storytelling with the modern influences of Americana and acoustic surf to create her unique West Coast style.

Her work celebrates her identities and the human experience, and is greatly inspired by the traditional Irish seannchí (storyteller); that by telling the stories that make us who we are, we free those coming after to be all they can be.

She is also the founder of Unpaved Roads Studio, whose multimedia projects champion and create opportunities for mentorship and development for women and underrepresented communities within the music industry, with an aim to make a life in music and authentic expression through the arts commonplace for all.

Modern-day troubadours are the self-perceived outsiders who write songs about underdogs, unnoticed or marginalized folks, and struggles not often heard in mainstream music… we are the wandering minstrels who compose and perform songs to tell truths. And like the stories of old, songs help teach us how to live, and why.
